mDistribute - Moble Film Licensing Technology

mDistribute film licensing is owned by Golivemobile.com, a 4 year old global technology company with 100 employees based in Denver with technical offices in India and Philippines. We are the first and only self-serve mobile content licensing platform, where content creators can easily license to the mobile industry. Our platform has generated over $100 million in mobile content transactions since 2006.

The idea for mDistribute was hatched in mid 2009 when parent company Golivemobile.com became bombarded with client requests for short form but high quality mobile video content. Due to the recent explosion of smartphones, driven largely by iPhone and Android devices, demand for such short form video content has risen dramatically in the mobile content industry. Despite this demand, Golivemobile realized that the content was fragmented and difficult to license, with no central marketplace to buy and sell rights. And so... mDistribute was born!

In late 2009 mDistribute entered a private beta test, in which the Golivemobile clientele used the platform to purchase films from over 50 independent filmmakers. Filmmakers and buyers from over 40 countries were represented during the beta test. Over $200,000 in film sales were generated in a short period, primarily short form content such as short films and animation.

As of February 2009 ,the mDistribute platform is open to all qualified filmmakers and content buyers!

How to Brand Your Technology Web Site

7:46 PM / Comments (0) / by Marsadie

The longer visitors are on your business web site, the greater the opportunity for branding

Some visitors who come to your business web site will know what they're looking for, but many others need guidance. Some of them are considering the competition, and if they are shopping online, your business web site has to out-shine the others to get the business.
It's important to try to keep your visitors on your site until they become a conversion, or to at least build a relationship with the customer through the web site until they feel comfortable enough with your business to come back later and complete the sale.
Below are some ways to use your business web site to increase potential branding, and branding means more opportunity for conversion.

Add some free information to your business web site

The more information you have on your business web site, the longer a visitor can browse the site without running into the same pages. If there's more to read, it's more likely that visitors will stick around to read it.
An added benefit of having more information on your business web site is that you will get more targeted traffic through search engines to the content pages of your site, where visitors can be introduced to your brand.
The free information on your business web site can come in the form of articles, reviews, statistics, and tutorials. You can also use this information to increase your range of customer services through your business web site.

Include interactivity on your business web site

People like business web sites that they can interact with. If you have a product or service that can be customized for a customer, consider creating an interactive media experience where the customer can generate price quotes based on certain information, or can see visually how a change of color or size will affect a product.

Keep your business web site live

One of the best ways to keep a business web site attractive and "stickable" is to make sure you have some current information. It has to look like your business web site is a live entity, with new information being added all the time.
These are just a few ways to add stikability to your web site. As long as you keep in mind that your goal is to keep customers on your web site until they become a business conversion, you can come up with some other creative ways to achieve. (full article)

Home Theatre Seating

When you set your chairs up, remember that their placement will directly impact your viewing experience. If you’re planning on having a couple rows of chairs, remember that the people in that back want to see the whole screen, too. You could choose complementing low back chairs for the front and high back chairs for the back row. Risers are also a great option because every row of seats will have a perfect view. Make sure you know what you’re doing before you start building, though, and you might want to consult a contractor. If you’re going for one long row, arrange them in a semi-circle with the midpoint of the chairs lining up with the midpoint of the screen, as in the image below. This arrangement will give those sitting on the end an ideal viewing angle because they won’t have to turn their heads or strain their necks to see.
