The Wendy Williams Show

I like to watch my favorite talk show, Wendy Williams, on Direct TV satellite movie channels. Wendy is incredibly funny and likeable. She tends to have guests that range from B-level to A-level celebrities, and I especially enjoy when she covers celebrity gossip with her “Hot Topics,” segment, and gives her funny opinions regarding what celebrities are doing, not doing, and involved in.

Her guests might not always be of interest to people that enjoy mainstream media, but if you follow celebrity news, fashion and guilty pleasures, she tends to have the line-up for you. Wendy is completely open about the fact that she wears hair extensions, hair weaves and wigs, and makes the topic of fake hair enjoyable and funny. Though you might be tempted not to take the show seriously most of the time, sometimes she just says some things that are so real and spot on that you know that she is a smart lady.

For example, Jake Gyllenhaal is dating Taylor Swift, but apparently he begged Taylor not to talk about him in any of the songs that she wrote. Well, Wendy said that if Jake didn't want Taylor to write about him in songs, then he should not date an 18 year old girl who's only experienced some a few break ups and a few romances in life, and who has nothing else to write about. She said that maybe he should date someone his own age if he wanted a woman to treat relationships as maturely as he did. It was pretty hilarious.
