Safe to Say

It’s pretty safe to say that dad’s not great with technology – we tried to get him a cell phone last year and he promptly broke it in half trying to “close” it. He’s a lot more comfortable with a typewriter than a laptop and he wouldn’t know what an iPad was if it jumped up and bit him. I love him to death but everything from teaching him to work the new TV remote to showing him how to operate the HOME SECURITY KEYPADis a MAJOR struggle at home. It’s funny because my mom’s far more into what’s new and modern and she does her best to keep the house updated and my dad at least somewhat in the loop. It’s tough for her though since she gets irritated with him so easily and sometimes he just can’t seem to get it through his thick head that all we want is the best for him! I know it doesn’t really matter and that his age he doesn’t need to learn technology but he could try!
